We are delighted to be welcoming Jonny Baker and Gavin Mart to Sheffield as part of the Pioneer Practice tour and we’ll be hosting them for an afternoon workshop 2-4pm on 28th June at St.Mark's Church, Broomhill, focused on pioneering new initiatives and dreaming new possibilities. It’ll be an afternoon of stories, sharing and music aiming to inspire you in your pioneering and social enterprise and to encourage others too.
The workshop will explore the idea that imaginative pioneering starts with seeing something - a possibility, an idea, a way that things could be better or different. It will then take a look at how we make something happen out of what we see. Gerald Arbuckle said that Pioneers are “dreamers who do” and this workshop will look at that.
Expect:
+ stories and inspiration
+ music and creativity
+ a chance to dream, conspire and inspire.
Whatever kind of social enterprise, project dreaming or new idea you have we reckon they’ll be loads to gain from attending this event. Our main focus is on faith-based settings but Jonny and Gavin also have experience of the world outside faith too so they'll be lots for everyone to explore. If you’re interested in making and doing good in the world through your big idea then this workshop is for you.
Tickets are £10 and available via our Eventbrite page on the link below.
