We are delighted to invite you to our next Wellbeing Wheel of the Year event as part of the Wellbeing Community. This event is open to all, whether new members, members who’ve been involved for a while and anyone else who’s not a member at all but interested in what we are doing.
The event is called Shine and it’s all about embracing summer as the longest day of the year approaches.
We are going to have a Forest Bathing Session led by a trained practitioner, we’ll have some food and drink together and spend some time outdoors together.
Here’s the details:
Where: Centre in the Park, Norfolk Heritage Park, Guildford Avenue, Sheffield S2 2PL.
We will meet outside the Centre which is next to the car park and the entrance on Guildford Avenue.
If for any reason the weather is wet, we have a Gazebo to cover us.
When: Friday 19th June from 6pm till 7.30pm.
Travel: Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield is easily accessible by public transport, located just over a mile from the city centre/train station. The best options are the Blue or Purple Route Supertram (stop: Park Grange Road or Arbourthorne Road) or several buses, including the 120, 7, 8, and 8A that stop along Granville Road.
Car: The Park has a car park with access from Guildford Avenue.
Superteam (Most Direct): Take the Blue or Purple tram from Sheffield Interchange/Station towards Gleadless Townend/Halfway/Herdings Park.Stop: Park Grange Road (near Norfolk Park Health Centre) or Arbourthorne Road.
Bus Services:7, 8, 8A: Take these towards Crystal Peaks, Birley, or Ecclesfield, and stop at Granville Road near the park entrance.120: A regular service that passes close by along Granville Road.50, 50A, 53: Other options serving the area.
Walking: The park is about a 20-30 minute uphill walk from the train station, following signs from the rear of the station through South Street Park.
