Voluntary Sector training: Suicide Prevention and Awareness (Online UK wide)

We are running a training session for anyone working in the UK’s voluntary sector to offer Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training. Course costs £20 and is delivered online.

Training includes:

  • A look in detail about the statistics, information and realities about suicide and it’s impact

  • A focus on responding, looking at what you’re likely to be presented with, what to look for and how to respond

  • Crisis and emergency support

  • How to safety plan and things to take into account.

This is a course will be run by Andy Freeman, Director and Founder of Space to Breathe who’s trained and experienced in running training such as this. Training includes notes and resources, an online page to accompany the training and practical support for big questions and specific scenarios your teams might face.
