Working Soul will be the second of our Shhh Exhibition Days taking place on Wednesday 1st May 2019.
The 1st May has a long history of being associated with work and workers and in 2019 will mark International Workers Day 2019.
We will be creating a gallery space focusing on the “soul” of working. How do we look after ourselves at work? How does work shape who we are ? What do we make of work if we are unemployed or if we are employed? Is there a soulfulness that we can connect with at work?
This Shhhh Gallery Day will be at 35 Chapel Walk in Central Sheffield.
Expect art, creative installations and a number of activities that you can interact with. Expect ambient music, a chilled vibe and some space to reflect and meditate.
The gallery space will be open from 11am to 9pm so you can drop in for five minutes or stay for an hour and you can come anytime you like.
As part of the day they’ll be a closing meditation at 7.30pm drawing together the thoughts and art from the day and offering the chance to spend a longer time in silence.
Entrance is free.
We’d love to see you come along.
