Wellbeing Zone: Burngreave (March Course - Session 1)

  • The Furnival The Welcome Space, 195 Verdon Street Sheffield, England, S3 9QQ United Kingdom (map)

We will be running our innovative and successful Wellbeing Zone sessions in Burngreave, based at the Furnival in March 2022. These are free sessions.

Wellbeing Zone is an hour long Mindfulness session which aims to develop self-care techniques and tools which anyone can use. The sessions will help you manage your mental health and wellbeing and enable you to learn the practices of mindfulness which many find really helpful in their mental health.

This Wellbeing Zone is fully funded and up to 8 places are available.

There will be five sessions covering:

  • An introduction to self-awareness

  • Learning Mindfulness

  • Lifting Stress

  • Relieving Anxiety

  • Building Resilience

To apply just follow the link below to register. This can either be registration for yourself or if you are a NHS worker, GP or Carer/Supporter you can also refer people you work with. SHSC Staff can also refer through our Waiting List Project.

Find out more about Wellbeing Zone

Wellbeing Zones have already been used in projects with Sheffield Health and Social Care and Sheffield Council. One health worker wrote:

“All of the people I work with have given positive feedback about their sessions, describing them as good, positive and useful. The sessions support the conversations and overall work that we are trying to move towards with people in terms of resilience building and developing coping strategies for discharge into the community/ community life. Space to Breathe has made the service flexible and easy to engage with which makes all the difference for our service users.”

We have also created a short video which is attached.
