At Space to Breathe we know that wellbeing is often very practical and our mental health is often affected by practical things like work, health, money, bills and everyday things. This section features resources and support we can signpost you to to help with these practical issues.

If you need to apply for a Winter Fuel Payment to help with fuel costs over the winter, the form is here. You qualify if you were born before September 1959. Find the form here.

Carers and Pension Credit. Pensioners with caring responsibilities can check if they are eligible for Pension Credit or a Carer Addition on top of Pension Credit. Pensioners aged 66 or over with caring responsibilities who are not paid Carer’s Allowance, could still receive a Carer Addition payment on top of Pension Credit. Check out the details here.

Sheffield S6 Foodbank has more capacity for Debt referrals. Their experienced debt team is here to help. Last year alone, they helped 51 clients become debt-free and supported many more in improving their financial wellbeing but we have capacity to take on more referrals!

If you want to get in touch just use debt@fctrust.uk - they can also take referrals from organisations.
