At Space to Breathe we know that wellbeing is often very practical and our mental health is often affected by practical things like work, health, money, bills and everyday things. This section features resources and support we can signpost you to to help with these practical issues.

As part of the Voluntary Sector we regularly receive updates designed to help and support people locally in cost of living or life-issue related support. We’ll publish them here when we can. Click on the subjects to view and download/website.

19 March 25 - Parkinson’s Catch Up Monthly gathering at Parson Cross Forum for people with Parkinson’s, their family and friends. First Thursday of the month, 1-2.30pm - flyer attached

19 March 25 - Free BSL and ESOL Class – An 8-week course for migrants to the UK who identify as Deaf. Starting Friday 25th April. Flyer attached with sign-up link.

19 March 25 - Dementia Carers groups in Firth Park and High Green, Dementia Drop In at Chapeltown Library, and a new Alone Together support group for people who have lost someone to bereavement or long-term care. Flyers attached.
