Seasonal Affective Disorder is the term used for individuals who feel their mood struggles at the change of the seasons into Autumn and Winter. Only about 5% of the population are diagnosed with S.A.D. but surveys estimate 47% of those with existing mental health challenges find it much harder at this time of year.
