Establishing a Referral Pathway with Space to Breathe

Organisations can establish a referral pathway with Space to Breathe. This can enable us to adapt our services to link them to the people you work with, and to ensure we understand the needs of the individuals you care for and how we can help.

In order to do this, we’d be grateful if you could complete a short form (below) and we will then make contact to arrange a meeting and organise the pathway. This form asks what you needs might be, what part of our work connects with you and whether there is any way we can finance any referrals through donations, grants or through partnership.

Please note that we can include any of our services and approaches into a referral pathway. This can include Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation, Emotional Regulation and Counselling services. However, there are some criteria which need to be applied when referring:

Sadly, some of our services may not be appropriate if a person is

- experiencing PTSD symptoms (eg. flashbacks, physical sensations)

- are in an agitated state where stillness and quiet would prove difficult

- are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

- have profound communication or physical difficulties

In these settings we believe a group class may not be the best environment to begin their practice with us. In these circumstances we would encourage you to get in touch so we can have a conversation about the person’s needs, strengths and wishes. We may be able to explore working together.
