Here at Space to Breathe we’re delighted to be continuing our work with South Yorkshire Housing Association to provide a number of group-based opportunities to get support and help for your wellbeing. They’re all free to attend.
I wanted to take a moment to explain more.
Your Wellbeing Your Way
This four week course is piloting in April has been designed and is facilitated by people with a range of lived experiences of mental health challenges. In it, we’ll explore what recovery means to you and what is needed to make it a reality. Expect to learn new skills and personal strategies to help take control of your own wellbeing. Weekly Drop in - Space to Breathe
Our drop has restarted and runs every Wednesday from 3.30pm until latest 5pm. Drop in for a brew and some cake and the chance to chat with others. Life can be challenging and so these groups give you space to chat, share and also sit quietly and listen. Each week we’ll feature an idea or technique to try and practice some space or mindfulness. Just come along
New Restorative Yoga Nidri Classes
We’ve had a great response to our first pilots and courses of Restorative Yoga called Relearning Rest. You can read Fran’s account of how it’s gone here. We will be running mens and women’s Yoga Nidra classes in the coming year and our April/May course for women is now full. Lastly … Monthly Mindfulness
