Launching our Carers Wellbeing Project
This week is Carers Week and we’re delighted to be marking this with the launch of a new Carers Wellbeing Project for Sheffield.
Space to Breathe are delighted to be working Sheffield Mind and Sheffield Flourish to support Carers in Sheffield with practical, crisis and wellbeing help.
Through the project (which was funded by the ICB through Synergy Sheffield) we will be offering:
practical and supportive help with all the practicalities of being a carer
help when the person you’re caring for is going through a mental health crisis
ongoing wellbeing support through tools, techniques, groups and resources.
To access support all you need to do is either self-refer or be referred by another organisation. The project aims to help any carer who is caring for someone with a mental health challenge.
You can use the referral link below or find out more at our Carers pages, where you’ll also find a Carers Wellbeing Pack.
We all met as a team, across the three organisations last week and you can see more about that meeting from Edyta Bancer of Mind in her linked in post below.
