Introducing Remembering - our free resource on healthy grieving

We’re going through difficult and tumultuous times. We are experiencing elevated levels of unexpected deaths, we are mourning the loss of jobs, social lives, grieving missed times with families. How can we respond?

This week we are launching a new Space to Breathe resource called Remembering which is a creative resource providing ideas, activities and resources aimed at healthy grieving and mourning.

We have created Remembering with the task of feeding the creative juices of faith communities as they play an incredible part in supporting grief in local communities. Faith communities are consistently at the forefront of support as we mark losses and mourning - especially in these strange times where maybe grief is complicated by limits on numbers or inability to come together to mourn.

This new Remembering resource produced by Space to Breathe is a fantastic resource for local churches to support members of their congregation and the wider communities that they serve as we start to scratch the surface of processing the grief and sense of loss. I commend it to you.”

How do we mark grief which is happening across our communities, but do it in a socially distant way? How do you listen effectively when on a Zoom call rather than sitting face to face? How do you create imaginative activities to do together when our mourning can be so varied?

Our material aims to provide resources to help respond to those and other questions.

This 48 page paperback book* and PDF download is currently available to purchase FREE on our website thanks to kind donations from community partners like Sheffield Methodist Circuit and Faithstar.
