Every financial year, Space to Breathe are required to prepare and submit annual accounts and an annual report of our activity.
We always see this as an opportunity to reflect on our work, learn and to celebrate successes.
This time round, when reporting on 2020/21 we’ve had to take note of the unprecedented circumstances of the COVID pandemic. For any organisation to have come through this is a bonus, we are therefore delighted to announce that we’ve achieved higher turnover and a small surplus in such a tough year.
More than that though, COVID has helped us find our place in the world of mental health and has highlighted the importance of the field we work in. Increased levels of stress, depression and mental illness has meant we’ve had to step up and to be generous - for example we’ve offered more free 1:1 Wellbeing Check-Ins this year than at any other time in our history as a company.
The PDF of our Annual Report can be found below and we encourage you to take a look. It will hopefully show you the development we’ve made and the hope we have for the future.
