Space to Breathe at Greenbelt 2022

One of the highlights of our summers at Space to Breathe has been the brilliant Greenbelt Festival. Set in the beautiful grounds of Broughton House, this festival is spiritual, creative, communal and deep inspiring.

We’re thrilled that Greenbelt is back this year after a couple of years of pandemic hiatus and this what Space to Breathe will be involved in…

The Wellbeing Team

We’re delighted to say that for the first time, Space to Breathe are hosting a Wellbeing Team at the festival. This will be a Mental Health First Aid resource for festival go-ers. We won’t be counsellors, doctors or coaches. We won’t be able to solve everything that life is throwing at you. But we will be able to provide a listening ear, signposting to services that might support you when you’re back home, and spaces onsite to help your wellbeing.

Find out more in this Greenbelt blog.

The Chapel

We’ll again be providing a reflective space in the Chapel. Expect inspiring stations which get you thinking, a place to build your wellbeing and a spiritual place to reflect and make sense. Below are a few pictures from 2019.

Shhh…. Meditations

On Saturday and Sunday afternoon’s we’ll be running our popular Shhh… meditations once again. These hour long meditations will be in the Shelter.

“Shhh… presents Waking Up to My Present” will think around the concept of “being present” and how we might wake up our bodies and emotions to the idea of living much more in the now, and less in the past or in worries about the future. “Shhh… presents Waking up to My Self” will explore how we might wake up to ourselves - particularly understanding the power and importance of self-awareness to our wellbeing. . Expect ambient music, poetry, mindful meditation, silence, imagination and inspiration in 60 minutes of space to breathe.
