10:4 Campaign: Updates & Free Gift news

The 10:4 Campaign

Thanks so much for your donations and encouragements, we’ve raised £220 so far with the hope of more to come.

It’s been great to get our 10:4 Campaign started and to receive such a positive response. We’ve already received personal donations from people wanting to contribute, as well as interactions and encouragements - thank you so much.

In order to expand the campaign, I’m delighted to announce that everyone who donates to the campaign will receive a free copy of Reflections, a digital album of mindful meditations from the Space to Breathe team. You can find out more about this great album below.

simple, repetitive techniques

Offering this free gift feels really appropriate as our campaign is all about sharing four simple, repetitive techniques that we use so much in Mindfulness and other wellbeing events and tools we share.

One of these techniques is Breathing - a bread and butter stress relief tool, which brings oxygen into the brain, de-activates our impulse to “fight or flight” and enables us to be present. One way we’ve found to explore Breathing is through “The Stop Process” … a simple and handy one minute tool which resets us in stressful moments. Check out this video for more.

We really hope our campaign can enable us to raise £5000 to share these tools with 250 people in the Sheffield area who wouldn’t otherwise access them. This might mean:

  • Translating resources into other languages

  • Working with partners to share with people in need.

  • Offering free one to one and group work to people outside the public health system.

We’d love you to join us in this project and for you to donate - even £10 can make a big difference.
