This autumn, we’re delighted to be partnering with South Yorkshire Housing Association to deliver a programme of groups and wellbeing support through their Positive Activities programme.
Positive activities “support adults in recovery (people who have, or are experiencing, mental health support needs, homelessness, domestic abuse, substance misuse, and/or contact with the criminal justice system) to flourish, do something they love, connect with others, learn new skills, and more.”
Over the next six months, we’ll be delivering a programme of support designed to help people build wellbeing skills, learning more about emotional awareness and regulation and to meet others and share experiences as they do so.
We’ll be running groups in different areas of the city but to begin with we are focusing on our base at Scotia Works and starting to run these groups:
Space to Breathe: our weekly Mindfulness and Safe Space for Wellbeing - Wednesdays 3.30pm-5pm
Time to Breathe: our weekly online Mindfulness group
Wellbeing Zones: our five part course on wellbeing skills, starting Friday 27th October 2pm
Meditation and Reflection for Wellbeing Day on 2nd December 9.30am to 4pm
Information about these free to access groups and how to either refer people in or self-refer yourself can be found at our project page via the button below.
We’d love you to join us as we begin these groups. If you have any questions just email us at info@spacetobreatheuk.com.
