This month we’re proud and excited to begin to get started on the Make it Click project, in partnership with Google and the Good Things Foundation.
As we have begun to move more content online we’re very conscious that a key element of ‘digital wellbeing’ is having the confidence to know your way around online, feeling you have the skills to join in on social media or use other digital products and having access to a laptop and good internet.
“If we are committed to moving our wellbeing support into a virtual and digital arena we have to make sure no one gets left behind. That’s why we’re excited to be involved in Make it Click.” (Andy Freeman, Founder and Director of Space to Breathe)
We’ll be partnering with Make it Click for the next 12 months offering free digital learning tools for anyone wanting to increase their confidence online or learn new digital skills. This includes:
Email
Documents
Spreadsheets
Presentations
Social media
Online security
Space to Breathe will be offering access to a suite of online resources through a Learn My Way website and also creating tutorials both 1-2-1 and in groups that you can take part in.
Make it Click is a wider national programme that we’re taking part in with centres right across the country. The aims of the programme are to help people who are limited users of the internet to gain and apply a broader range of digital skills that will help them make positive changes in their lives and in their careers.
As we begin the project we’d love to hear who’d be interested in accessing free support.
You can express your interest below.
We are also running a free 30 minute webinar on Tuesday 19th May at 2pm; you can register for that below too.
